The singer was first pictured with Sean 'Sticks' Larkin in December, who has now confirmed they have gone their separate ways.
The 46 year-old made the admission to the New York Times when speaking about his reality TV series 'Live PD', where he revealed they have decided to remain friends.
Sean told the publication: "Right now, we're just friends. We still talk and whatnot, we just have busy schedules right now."
Opening up on their brief romance, he told of how they kept things low-key despite the singer's high-profile life.
"When we were in Tulsa we hung out with my law enforcement friends and their spouses. We all Super Bowl partied together, dinners and things like that. Normal things couples do with their friends," he explained.
