The singer quipped that she simply "can't afford" to invite her 'American Idol' co-stars Lionel Richie and Luke Bryan to the occasion.
Appearing on 'Jimmy Kimmel Live', the 35 year-old bride-to-be said: "I can't afford them! Like I said I can't afford them.
"I mean, no. I mean, look ... They have a lot of work to do, you know, while I'm out getting married again."
Discussing the wedding, Katy also insisted that she is not a difficult bride and is in fact quite relaxed about the process.
She boasted: "I'm actually like a, not a bridezilla. I call myself, like, a bridechilla. I'm like, 'I'm kinda chill.'
"But I am one of those girls where I got engaged February 14 and I booked the place February 19. I take it very seriously."
The exact dates for her nuptials to Orlando are unknown, however it's sure to be a glamorous affair as the pair celebrate their union with a host of famous pals.
