Josh Gad's Parenting Struggles

Josh Gad has spoken of how he struggles to find a balance when it comes to parenting.

The actor has daughters Ava, eight, and Isabella, five, with his wife Ida Darvish and says he's forever apologising to each of them.

Speaking to Denise Albert from lifestyle group The Moms, he said: "I always look at my first daughter, and I'm like, 'I'm so sorry. I screwed up so much because I didn't know any better.' And then I look at my younger daughter, and I say ... 'I'm sorry, I'm spoiling you because you're the youngest.' It is a constant balance, and I'm never quite sure if I'm doing it right."

Despite him voicing the loveable snowman Olaf in 'Frozen', Josh said his children aren't at all interested in his job.

He previously said: "They said 'Daddy, I want more cereal.' They're not interested in what I'm doing."

But Josh believes his daughters are "spoiled" when it comes to the world of 'Frozen', as he often reads them books about the fictional characters in the voice of Olaf, and so "every day is a sequel for them".

He added: "They're a little spoiled. because I read to them these stories at night. When I read a book about 'Frozen', I read it as Olaf. So, they get it firsthand. So, for them, every day is a sequel for them."
