Paul and Alexandra were married for 19 years and and share 13 year-old son Josh. They split for a brief period in 2013 when Paul's affair came to light, an event he later called "the biggest mistake" in his life.
After giving things another try, they eventually decided to call it quits on November 2017, releasing a joint statement that read: "It is with sadness that we have decided to separate. Our focus continues to be the happiness of our son… we ask the press and public to allow us privacy during this very difficult time."
