The singer has been married to model Penny Lancaster, 48, since 2007 and admitted that the reason behind their happiness is that they often don't see each other for extended periods.
The 74-year-old has eight children from a number of relationships including Alastair, 13, and Aiden, seven, with Penny and told Woman's Own magazine: "Penny and I like our silence. We live in a very big house and we don't bump into each other for hours on end."
