Speaking exclusively to OK! Magazine, the couple opened up about the impending birth and spilled details on the name they have chosen.
The excited pair are already parents to two-year-old son Archie, who was very involved in choosing the name for his baby sister.
They explained: "We've just moved house and put the name on the wallpaper that Rachael has chosen.
"Archie wouldn't let us call her anything else anyway, so he partly chose the name, but we're keeping it a secret."
Mikey also joked that Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan have "great taste" after choosing the name Archie for their own son, who was born in May. The Gary Windass actor added: "When Archie was a little bit younger, whenever Prince Harry came on the TV, he always said: 'There's Daddy!'"
And after a traumatic birth the first time around, the parents are adamant the baby girl will be the last addition to their brood and both replied "absolutely not" when asked about a third child.
Mikey commented: "I would be highly surprised if we had any more. Two is a great number." The proud dad revealed that he has learned a lot from Archie's and explained their decision not to have a birthing plan this time.
He said: "I remember Rach insisting: 'I'm not having any pain relief,' and then about six hours in, she's like: 'Give me everything!'"
