Erik Von Detten Is A Dad

Disney star Erik von Detten has became a dad for the first time.

The star's wife Angela von Detten welcomed the couple's first baby on Friday 17 May, a little girl they have chosen to name Claire.

Announcing the news in a post on Instagram, Angela wrote: "Welcome to the earth sweetie," alongside two snaps of the newborn. "Giving birth was the most magical experience in my life so far. I didn't think it was possible to love so deep…seriously I love you more than life itself my baby Claire Bear.


"Daddy and I are so blessed you chose us. Thank you for being our sweetest treasure and adventure that's to come."

Since moving on from his days in the 'Princess Diaries', Erik often performs at his local community theatre in Santa Monica.
