Sharing the exciting news on social media, the Emmerdale and Coronation Street actress posted a photo in which she proudly displayed her stunning diamond engagement ring.
"HE PROPOSED….I said YES!!! This year is turning out to be quite wonderful," she gushed.
It comes only weeks after the 42-year-old announced her pregnancy, admitting that she had believed her chances of becoming a mother were over.
Writing on Instagram on Easter Monday, alongside a snap of her growing bump, Hayley said: "EXCITING NEWS TWEET!! I'm so pleased to tell you all…I'm expecting my first child with my wonderful boyfriend Adrian!! I've always wanted to be a mum and didn't think I could have children. And now, at the ripe old age of 42- I'M PREGNANT! We couldn't be happier."
