The royal couple are said to be big fans of the singer, who performed four of his top hits at their wedding reception last year.They are believed to have enlisted his musical talents to teach their son or daughter, who is due this Spring, to play the piano.
"Meghan and Harry adore Elton," a source told The Sun newspaper. "Meghan has been saying he's the perfect person to teach their child the piano."
And it appears the star has accepted the offer. "He's apparently said he'd love to," the insider continued. "Music is hugely important to both Meghan and Elton, so who better?!"
The music legend recently praised the couple for involving so many cultures at their wedding.
Elton said at the time: "It was very, very wonderful to be there. To have a black gospel choir, a multiracial bride, a black cellist, who was wonderful, a preacher- it felt like a party. And it felt like progress had been made. Thank god, thank god.
"To be at the first multiracial royal wedding in Britain- amazing."
