The Duchess of Sussex, 37, reportedly travelled to the Big Apple on Friday 15 February for a five-day trip to visit her close friends.
Meghan, who is seven-months pregnant and due to give birth in April, was spotted being escorted into an SUV in New York late on Monday night (18 February). She returned to spend quality time with her girlfriends before the baby shower, which will take place at a hotel on the Upper East Side today.
This is her first time back in the city since her wedding to Prince Harry, 34, in a magical ceremony which took place at Windsor Castle in May last year.
The event is believed to have been organised by Meghan's stylist and close friend, Jessica Mulroney, and they will be joined by fifteen guests. Some famous faces expected to make an appearance are Priyanka Chopra, Serena Williams, Amal Clooney and Meghan's former 'Suits' co-stars Abigail Spencer and Sarah Rafferty.
Meghan apparently enjoyed a visit to Ladurée in Soho for macaroons and afternoon tea, a source told HELLO! Magazine: "It was on the Saturday but a totally private visit."
A close source to Meghan said that "this trip is a lovely chance to catch up with friends and spend time in a city she loves. This will be the last time a lot of them will see Meg after the baby is born so it's nice to share precious moments".
