Jacob Bryan Fisher will be a little brother for the country singer's three-year-old son Isaiah, and the family are delighted that their "miracle baby" arrived safely on Monday 21.
Taking to social media to announce the news, the couple said they feel "truly blessed" after suffering three devastating miscarriages.
An insider told People: "They are just so beyond overjoyed with their healthy baby.
"It has been a rough few years with the miscarriages and the accident and they didn't even know if they'd get to this point."
After Carrie revealed the news, Mike took to Instagram to share a picture of him cradling his son and thanked God for giving them the "gift" of Jacob, whilst revealing that they worried they'd never be able to conceive again after their ordeal.
He captioned the sweet snap: "Jacob Bryan Fisher! You are a gift from our Lord! The last few years has had its challenges and it makes this moment even more sweet.
"We didn't know if Izzy would ever have another sibling but we learned through it all that God is in control and his timing is perfect.
"He is good all the time even in the difficult times that are hard to understand."
Alongside a photograph of herself and her new baby, Carrie wrote on Twitter: "Jacob Bryan Fisher entered the world in the wee hours of the morning on Monday...his mom, dad and big brother couldn't be happier for God to trust them with taking care of this little miracle! Our hearts are full, our eyes are tired and our lives are forever changed. Life is good."
The 'Love Wins' singer also shared some behind-the-scenes shots of baby Jacob with Mike and Isaiah.
