When they first met, Metin shared a selfie of the pair on Instagram along with the caption: "Happy to meet such a humble soul. Planning on inspiring projects. Stay wild, stay free…"
One year later, he posted a tribute to Adriana to celebrate their anniversary: "It has been exactly one year that I've met you... You've made me the luckiest man on earth," the author gushed.
The break-up comes at a tough time for the model, who announced her retirement from Victoria's Secret in November after almost 20 years with the brand.
