Halsey Shuts Down John Mayer Romance Rumours

Halsey has shut down rumours that she is dating John Mayer and insisted it is possible for two people of the opposite sex to be friends without any romantic interest.

The singer was linked to John after the pair exchanged a series of flirtatious messages on social media, but later took to Twitter to hit out at anyone suggesting they were an item.


She wrote: "I just had a ground breaking idea. What if…we let female artists…have friends…without assuming that they are sleeping together?

"I know I know. It's like, completely ambitious but like, imagine if we like, tried?"

Halsey split up with her boyfriend G-Eazy earlier this month, who she refers to in her most recent music release, Without Me.
