Alesha Dixon: The Strictly Come Dancing Curse Is Real

Alesha Dixon has insisted that the so-called Strictly Come Dancing curse and "sexual chemistry" in rehearsals is real.

The 40-year-old starred in the 2007 series of the BBC dancing show, with Matthew Cutler as her professional partner.

Following the recent scandal surrounding comedian Sean Walsh and his public kiss with dance partner Katya Jones, Alesha admitted that there is always a chance of romance when training for the competition.


When appearing on The Jonathan Ross Show, she said: "The sexual chemistry is real. You're rubbing up on them! It is intense so I can see how it goes down that road."

The singer added that her partnership on the show was strictly professional, and said she is still a huge fan of the show.
