A friend told People magazine the 39-year-old actress "can't stop smiling" following Rani's birth.
"She always wanted a daughter so this is really a dream come true.
"And her big brothers are so excited- they'll be so protective and sweet to her always," the source also said.
Kate announced Rani's arrival last week on Instagram and shared the first picture of the new addition over the weekend.
