The openly gay actor has given himself three years to find a partner before he will turn to surrogacy.
In an interview in the new issue of Gay Times magazine, he said: "I want someone to call me daddy. Having kids is always something that's been fundamentally important to me. I remember being at school, junior school, and already wanting to be a dad. I wanted to be an actor, a history teacher and a dad."
