Olly Murs has denied reports that he was in a relationship with television presenter Melanie Sykes – but admitted that "there might have been something" between the couple.
The singer was speaking to OK! magazine when he addressed the speculation.
The 33-year-old told the publication: "Me and Mel are great friends and that's it. We were not dating for a year. We never dated or went out with each other as girlfriend and boyfriend like people were saying.
"It was the start of the year and she came to my tour but there was nothing really in it."
The interview follows an appearance by Olly on ITV's Loose Women where he suggested the pair might have hooked up.
When he was asked by the panel about any romance, he said: "There might have been something", but did not expand on his response.
Reports of a potential relationship between Murs and Sykes, 47, emerged in late 2017 with the couple allegedly bonding over their love of fitness.
