She has always refused to reveal her child's name or sex after giving birth to her first child in December last year.
Speaking on ITV's Lorraine, she said: "I don't want to mention my child's gender because I want them to have the choice of letting people know who their mum is when they're older.
"They might be a shy person and not like the attention so I'm not going to put that on them.
"The other thing is I believe it's very important for boys to learn about nurturing and dolls do that and girls can climb trees so they can become scientists and astronauts.
"The confusion is that I used a word that means different things to different people.
"But I don't mind if my kid's gay, straight or transsexual or even if they're a heterosexual working in HR."
