The victim, who has not been named, is said to have been five months pregnant and her death has been described as "unexplained".
The property has been sealed off following the discovery on Thursday, 07 December.
A spokesperson for Thames Valley Police is quoted as saying: "We are currently at the scene of an unexplained death in Newport Road, Milton Keynes.
"Police officers were called to reports that a woman had died at the property at about 2.40pm yesterday. A scene watch is in place at the address and is likely to remain in place today.
"If anyone has any information about the incident please call the 24-hour Thames Valley Police inquiry centre on 101."
