Sam Black from the Isle of Man got down on one knee and asked Emma to marry him after being rejected by the judges to get put through to the next stage.
Speaking to Simon, he said: "Is there something I can do before I go, because I'm never going to get this chance.
"Hey babe come up here."
She went on to the stage and Sam pulled the ring out of his pocket.
She was overwhelmed and said yes to his proposal.
Sam said: "At least I got one yes today, that'll do me."
