The television star's ex – Bryony Harris – recently gave birth to a baby girl, Rory, but Heavy D is looking proof that he is the father.
Taking to Instagram, Bryony shared an image of herself shortly after becoming a mother. She captioned the snap: "My princess arrived 10 days early born on the 4/9/2017 weighing (8lb 3oz) at 15:55pm. Welcome to the world Rory Robin Harris – my whole experience was amazing and this picture shows my first few moments with my daughter.
"Thank you to my 2 birthing partners and my 2 best friends my mummy @collard_sarah and my big sister @a_lharris I would not have done it with out you!"
Bryony, who is a YouTube star, confirmed in February that she was pregnant with the couple's first child.
Heavy D, 44, and 22-year-old Bryony separated over the Christmas period last year but reunited shortly afterwards. Then, in February of this year, she confirmed that she was expecting the couple's first child together. She also said that their relationship was "on track" and "going well".
However, later that month, the pair separated for good and have since been involved in spats across social media.
Just last month, Heavy D accused his ex of lying about him being the father of her unborn child and demanded that the couple appear on The Jeremy Kyle Show in order to get to the truth.
He told his Twitter followers: "Basically my ex who is 7 months pregnant who says I'm the father has basically just said I can't have a DNA test, cant give me a reason why.
"And we split up for a week before the 'conception' and she went out and got steaming drunk with her mate. That's too close for comfort!!
"If there's nothing to worry about why is she denying me a DNA test saying I have to wait 16 years to find out. l may need @itvjeremykyle.
"And she's telling me I'lll just have to believe her. Yeh alright! I'm not the father until @itvjeremykyle says I'm the father! (sic)."
Bryony later hit back: "I don't need to go on Jeremy Kyle to get closure… It's embarrassing Colin has even contacted you guys. I guess this shows how desperate he is to get back on telly.
"I hope you can understand I have more important things to focus on."
Heavy D, who starred on Storage Hunters UK, and Bryony started dating after she tracked him down on Twitter, having fallen for his personality on TV.
