The singer, who gave birth in December 2016, made the revelation in a new interview with The Sun.
The 36-year-old and her partner Leyman Lahcine have not released any details regarding their child, except to confirm last year that they had become parents. However, now Paloma has spoken out about her labour, admitting that it was a complicated situation.
She is quoted by the publication as saying: "Everything that could possibly go wrong went wrong. I had 20 hours of labour and a premature one and then I wasn't dilating.
"The baby was in jeopardy and so I had to have an emergency C-section. Then I had so much other stuff go wrong afterwards because I also had an infection afterwards of the womb.
"I don't think I could walk properly for two months. It was really awful, I don't think my body was designed for it. Not to mention putting on three stone."
Despite the complications, however, the singer added: "I would do it all again. I just feel now like I want to adopt. I want loads [of kids] because it's amazing."
