Sam Aston 'Didn't Want to Wait' To Marry Briont Gardner

Coronation Street actor Sam Aston has revealed he "didn't want to wait" to marry his fiancé Briony Gardner.

He proposed to her in front of an audience at a charity event in June.

Speaking to OK! Magazine the 24-year-old said: "I've always felt old before my time – I've been working since I was about five!


"We've also been together for a long time so it just feels right and I don't feel like I want to wait."

Briony said: "We've found the person we want to marry and I want to be a young bride before everything goes south!

"Both our parents have been together for a long time.

"Sam's parents have just celebrated 48 years of marriage and mine have been married for 34 years, so I want to get in as many years as we can!"
