A representative for the actress confirmed the news to MailOnline. The statement read: "We are delighted to announce that our client Jennifer Metcalfe and partner Greg Lake have welcome a baby boy into the world yesterday. Mother and baby are doing fine."
Metcalfe, 34, and Lake, who have been dating for four years, announced earlier this year that they were expecting their first child together, but said that they did not want to find out the sex of their baby until the birth.
