Helen McCrory Praises Husband

Helen McCrory has said that it was love at first sight when she met her husband Damian Lewis.

The actress has been married to Lewis for almost 10 years and in a new interview with Radio Times, has spoken about the couple's first meeting and their subsequent relationship.


The 48-year-old is quoted as saying: "He just made me laugh a lot. And still does. Of course, everyone in life wants someone to love and be loved by, but I think I was always just engrossed and involved in work. And no, the timing was pure fluke, pure chance. It always is, isn't it?"

McCrory and Lewis, 46, first met in 2003 when they co-starred in Five Gold Rings. They married in 2007 and have two children together; Manon, 10, and nine-year-old Gulliver.
