During an interview on the Kyle and Jackie O show, he said: "The moment that little boy or girl looks in your eyes your life is changed forever."
Previously on a Facebook live video, Liam said: "I love being a parent, it's the best thing in the world.
"I got to spend the weekend at home. I got to do bath time with my son which is the highlight of my day.
"There were many smiles in the bath tub."
