The singer, best known for being a former member of boyband 5ive, revealed at the weekend that the couple had ended their romance in March.
Speaking to The Mirror, 37-year-old Abz then added that he chose to call off their engagement – after he discovered his partner had a profile on an escort website.
He told the publication that he became suspicious of his partner when she started going on more nights out than usual. Later, when he was using her mobile phone as a SatNav, he found her profile on an adult website.
He said: "I searched for escorts and there she was. I couldn’t believe it... the world started shaking. I took screen shots as her profile was still public before she deleted it."
He continued: "The next day I brought it up and she just looked at me and said: 'It's your fault, you haven't had any work for two years, I'm glad you found out.' She was spitting so much venom at me."
It is understood Vicky later contacted the publication to defend herself, saying that he was guilty for signing up to the site, but felt that she had no choice due to the couple's financial troubles.
She also confirmed that she had never met up with anyone through the site, admitting: "I was absolutely s******* myself, I didn't know what I was going to do. I was so scared and I didn't know how I was going to survive."
Abz and Vicky, 32, started dating in 2009 and announced their engagement last year.
