The 45-year-old got engaged at Christmas, but has said that she is too busy with work to focus on the couple's big day.
Speaking to the MailOnline's FEMAIL, she confessed: "We're taking it easy. We're also both deciding what we actually want. It's a whole area that I've never even considered.
"There's lots to think about and we want to get it right. We don't want to rush it. We want to just make sure we're doing it for us and for nobody else. It's a case of narrowing it down to what we truly want to do."
She added: "I've spoken to so many of my friends and they all say whatever you do, just do it for you. Don't [give into] pressure from family or friends. We're taking our time and making sure it's right."
Snowdon and Smart have been in a relationship since 2015, but first met over 14 years ago when the pair both worked at MTV.
Discussing the couple's friendship before it turned to romance, she explained: "We had a really good basis, it absolutely helped. There was a familiarity there from the beginning and a trust and a friendship.
"It was key to us falling very far for each other, and to things to have moved so quickly. It's been a very grown-up year."
