The TOWIE star took to Twitter on Tuesday to comment on the former relationship following claims by one of his co-stars that the couple's split was 'out of the blue'.
The 28-year-old told his followers: "Just to clarify, Megan and I split because it was an unhealthy relationship. We hadn't been happy for a while and both agreed. #EnoughSaid."
After weeks of speculation regarding the couple's relationship status, McKenna took to social media to confirm that the couple had separated for good.
