Lucy, who is pregnant with twins, and her fiancé Rudei Coleano had been finding it hard to conceive for many years.
Speaking on ITV's This Morning she said: "I had to keep it a secret, because if you give any indication, they'll think if it goes well, you’ll be off in 9 months, and it affects storylines.
"I had to go to IVF appointments in lunch-times and after work."
She also confirmed she is expecting twin girls. The pair already have an 11-year-old daughter together.
