Jamie claimed that she wouldn't let him see his sons after he lost his keys.
However, in a statement on ITV's Loose Women, Danielle said: "As a single mother, my children are the main priority and I'm concerned about Jamie's ability to be a father."
Jamie replied: "I'm concerned about the children, and they're my main priority."
Jamie was at a charity event on Tuesday night and accidentally left his bag and keys in the cloakroom.
He was supposed to pick up his children at 9am the next morning, however as he had no car keys he was unable to.
He emailed Danielle and explained that he would be there as soon as he could and made plans for someone else to pick them up, however Danielle refused.
A source told The Mirror online: "She flew off the handle and said he wasn't allowed to see the kids. He's now going to have to go to court to fight to see his children.
"He's absolutely heartbroken. He'd made plans for his time with the kids, had theme park tickets for them.
"It's now beyond a joke. He hasn't spoken out about the kids and he doesn't get papped with them - he's never used them for financial gain."
