According to reports, Bradley Moss and Amy Bzura were due to tie the knot, having spent $325,000 (£260,000) on their big day. However, following the fight, a lawsuit has now been filed and the families are arguing over the footing the cost of the wedding.
It is understood the groom's parents objected to a toast being given to the – now former – couple. According to the New York Post, Robert and Wendy Moss, hosted a dinner where the bride's brother presented a video tribute and made a toast to the couple. However, the groom's parents then became offended and said that the bride's brother, Adam, was not allowed to speak at the dinner.
Threats were exchanged, with the bride allegedly issuing her husband-to-be with an ultimatum – to choose between her, or his mother.
Moss' mother later phoned guests to tell them that the wedding had been called off.
