The 22-year-old revealed the couple had split last week. Her comments come shortly after she was spotted at OK! Magazine's pre-Grammy event on her own. Stodden was also not wearing her wedding ring.
When asked about rumours of a marriage split, she told reporters: "Unfortunately, they're true. It's hard right now, but we're trying to individually find our happiness. It's just really sad right now."
Stodden and Hutchion, 56, met in 2011. Stodden was just 16 at the time when she signed up for acting lessons with her future husband. The pair married in May of that year, shortly before Hutchison's 51st birthday.
They first separated in November 2013, but reconciled in August the following year.
In May 2016, the couple announced they were expecting their first child together, but shortly afterwards Stodden revealed she had suffered a miscarriage.

Courtney Stodden has confirmed that she has separated from her husband Doug Hutchison once again.The 22-year-old revealed the couple had split last week. Her comments come shortly after she was spotted at OK! Magazine's pre-Grammy event on her own. Stodden was also not wearing her wedding ring.
