Hadid, 20, dated singer The Weeknd but recently called time on their romance. Then, last week, The Weeknd and Gomez were spotted kissing on a night out in Santa Monica.
Following the revelation, Gomez's ex-boyfriend – singer Justin Bieber – is claimed to have labelled the relationship "fake" and purely for publicity as Gomez is soon to release new music.
Now, Hadid is also said to have voiced her concerns regarding the romance.
A source is quoted by Us Weekly as saying: "Bella has reached out to Abel [The Weeknd] a few times and told him Selena is using him. He thinks she's just jealous and isn't listening to her."
They continued: "They [Abel and Selena] started hanging as friends and it became romantic. They're working on very sexy music, so it spilled over.
"Bella and Abel's split wasn't dramatic, but of course she's hurt and p****d that he's moved on so quickly with Selena."
The couple have not commented on the speculation.
