Danielle Lloyd has said that she will not be appearing on Celebrity Big Brother in order to defend herself against comments made by her ex-husband Jamie O'Hara, who is one of this year's contestants.
While it has been claimed Lloyd warned her former spouse not to talk about her while he is taking part on the show, O'Hara was only in the CBB house for a short period before he started talking about the couple's marriage.
O'Hara also suggested that he is on the show because he needs the money as he is continually paying out to his ex and their three children.
However, Lloyd has since said that while her former partner does pay towards the mortgage on the house she lives in with their children, she insists that she is not looking for a luxurious lifestyle.
Appearing on This Morning, the 33-year-old said that O'Hara should think about what he is saying on the show because it is now starting to affect his kids.
She explained: "He's in there not understanding what he's saying and the impact it's having on me and the children's lives. [Son] Archie goes to school and people are saying, 'Look what your dad said about your mum last night.' It's not nice."
"It's terrifying stuff. I don't think he's thought about the consequences of his kids at home," she continued.
Discussing O'Hara's financial situation, she admitted: "I've lowered the price of the house as I want to get out of there and hopefully it'll help with the financial strain.
"He does pay for the mortgage on the house, which is a lot of money, but that was the courts decision. It is where his children live. It's been up for sale for four years which I know is a financial burden, but it's not the case I'm after a life of luxury."
She added: "It's so upsetting for me because I've worked so hard for my career and he's trying to make me look like I've literally just tried to get a footballer instead of taking responsibility for what he's done. He's trying to paint me out as someone I'm not. It's so upsetting for me."
Lloyd and O'Hara have three children together; sons Archive, six, Harry, five, and two-year-old George.
