Stephanie Davis has given birth to her first child, a boy.
Last week it was reported that the actress had gone into labour, but Davis did not respond to the claims. Over the weekend, the 23-year-old then took to Instagram to confirm that she was now a mother.
She shared a black-and-white image of her son's hand. She captioned the snap: "The day my world became complete.
"I've been overwhelmed and so in love with you. Words could never describe. Thank you for all your support! (sic)."
Jay Roberts, her friend, and godfather of her newborn son, confirmed the birth as he shared another image of the baby's foot. He wrote: "Welcome to the world godson. I promise to love and care for you for the rest of your life."
Davis's ex, Jeremy McConnell, was in Thailand at the time of the birth. He later took to Twitter to say: "I am delighted that Steph has safely had the baby, of course if he is my son I will absolutely step up and do what I can to support him.
"Any timescale for that is in Steph's hands now. I did reach out to her some weeks ago but didn't hear back."
Davis and McConnell met last year when they both appeared on Celebrity Big Brother. They started dating once they left the show, but they ended their short and turbulent relationship in May 2016. Shortly afterwards, Davis announced that she was expecting her first child, and McConnell was the father, however this is a claim he has repeatedly denied.
