The singer is said to be expecting a baby with her boyfriend Liam Payne but sources have said the 33-year-old will continue to release new music in 2017.
A source is quoted by new! magazine as saying: "Cheryl has been working on new material for a while and she's proud of it. There's a bit more work to do but it's coming and no changes in her personal life are going to derail it.
"She is incredibly determined and has a very supportive family, so she feels confident she'll be able to balance everything and keep working.
"It's an exciting time for her in all aspects of her life – but she can't wait to get some new music out."
Cheryl has not officially confirmed her pregnancy, but last month she was spotted with her boyfriend Liam Payne, where a baby bump was clear to see. The couple have been dating since early 2016.
