In the last year, full-time RCM officers have represented over 500 members, covering issues from disciplinary hearings, health reviews, NMC referrals, reconfiguration issues and other cases. In addition, through the Caring for You initiative, it aims to improve members' health, safety and wellbeing at work.
Full membership will now cost £20.82 a month (£249.84 annually), an increase of 41p per month. Full joint membership will be £16.11 (£193.32 annually), while associate membership will be £13.72 (£164.64 annually). Special category associate will be £13.73 (£164.64 annually).
Furthermore, retired membership will cost £42.96 annually. International members are asked to contact the RCM for more information. All other categories remain the same.
The changes come into force from midnight on 20 December.
The first monthly payment will be debited on or around 3 January 2017.
