The couple have dated on and off for three years, but now it has been revealed that Armstrong has chosen to leave the reality television show. In scenes which were filmed over the weekend, the former couple can be spotted having an emotional conversation, which ends with Armstrong walking away from her partner and leaving in an awaiting car.
A source was previously quoted by the Daily Star as saying: "She [Danielle] is still struggling to get over James and doesn't think she'll be able to do that while they are constantly filming scenes together.
"Dani knows that in order to move on and be happy she needs a proper break from James and unfortunately that means leaving the show too.
"She wants to find the one, marry, settle down and have children and she knows there is no chance of that happening if she hasn't moved on from James first."
The news that she left the show comes just days after it was revealed Armstrong was in a new relationship with footballer Daniel Spiller.
