The actress made the revelation in her memoir, The Princess Diarist, which is due to be released later this month. In the excerpt released, the 60-year-old said that the couple's relationship lasted for three months. At the time, Fisher was 19-years-old, while Ford, who was a married father-of-two, was 33.
She is quoted by People magazine as saying: "It was so intense. It was Han and Leia during the week, and Carrie and Harrison during the weekend."
Meanwhile, in the excerpt, she revealed that the couple's first night was after a birthday party held for Star Wars director George Lucas.
She wrote: "I looked over at Harrison. A hero's face – a few strands of hair fell over his noble, slightly furrowed brow.
"How could you ask such a shining specimen of a man to be satisfied with the likes of me? I was so inexperienced, but I trusted something about him. He was kind."
