Michelle Keegan has revealed details of her engagement to Mark Wright.
The couple married in May 2015, having announced their engagement in September 2013, but they have never discussed the details around the proposal.
Now, appearing on The Jonathan Ross Show, which airs on ITV this Saturday, the actress has shared the moment her now-husband popped the question.
She told the host: "It was all planned. It was when we were in Dubai and it was four days into the holiday, so I had no idea.
"He did it on the beach and there was a table set out with a waiter and candles. When we first started speaking, I did say that one day I'd like to get proposed [to and be] in a white dress and all that – the fairy tale.
"[Mark] told me a story that on the beach there was going to be a white party so I got a white dress.
"I didn't think anything of it, but he had it all planned out so I wore the white dress, I was on the beach... it was very romantic."
