The couple, who both star in reality television show The Only Way Is Essex, have not been seen together much in the latest series, but it has since been revealed that the couple are going through a rocky patch.
In the latest episode, Chris said of their romance: "My relationship should be my happy place, but it's not."
He explained: "It ain't going well with Amber at the moment. We were arguing, like little bickering stuff and I just let it go, and then we had a proper big argument at the charity ball.
"She turned round to me and was like, 'You don't care. I don't feel like you are affectionate enough anymore'. I haven't been disrespectful to her or rude or anything.
"Add something else to the pot. Amber and my brother don't get on. He doesn't like her and that's just the bottom line. I've tried to persevere, but it's just getting worse and worse.
"I don't want to get to the place where we say things in an argument that we're going to regret. My relationship should be my happy place, but it's not."
His girlfriend, meanwhile, also discussed the relationship with her fellow female stars.
She admitted: "I'm not really with Chris at the minute. I don't really know what is going on. We had this row and I just said, 'What is going on? I just feel like you don't care anymore'.
"Jon [his brother] is still in his ear. I think Jon still wants him to be single and to get his brother back, but with everything going on at the minute, with my mum and everything, I need someone there to support me... and I just feel like he's not."
Chris and Amber first met on Instagram. They confirmed their relationship on TOWIE in August.
