Tobey Maguire and Jennifer Meyer Separate

Tobey Maguire and his wife Jennifer Meyer have separated.

The couple were marriage for nine years and have two children together.

In a joint statement to People magazine, they said: "After much soul searching and consideration we have made the decision to separate as a couple.


"As devoted parents, our first priority remains raising our children together with enduring love, respect and friendship."

Maguire, 41, and 39-year-old Meyer started dating in 2003 and tied the knot four years later in Hawaii. They have two children together; a daughter Ruby, nine, and seven-year-old son Otis.
