The 37-year-old became a father for the first time last month and while he has admitted that he is still coming to terms with what being a parents means, he is also loving the experience.
Speaking to radio host Ryan Seacrest, the singer admitted: "I've been a parent for three weeks, what do I know? I don't know anything, but it's kind of part of the beauty of it, honestly.
"There are a lot of instincts, a lot of things that kind of kick in and switch on. It's a beautiful experience."
Levine and his wife, Behati Prinsloo, welcomed their first child together – a daughter named Dusty Rose – in September.
