Ryan Lochte Announces Engagement

Ryan Lochte has announced his engagement to Kayla Rae Reid – after just nine months of dating.

The couple revealed the news via their respective Instagram accounts on Sunday.

Olympian Lochte, 32, shared a photo of Kayla's hand on his face as she kissed him. Her engagement ring can be seen in the image. He captioned the snap: "Memories forever!!! #thelochtes #LA."


Kayla, 25, shared a similar photograph on her account, writing alongside: "Speechless. Absolutely beautiful. So in love with YOU."

It is understood the couple were watching the sunset in Malibu Canyon when Lochte proposed. The couple started dating in January of this year.
