He has been married to Lyndsay for 10 years, however he allegedly said he had enough of the pair arguing over health and finances.
A source told The Sun: "Rick phoned Lyndsay the other day to say he'd had enough and was moving out. She's furious. One minute she was caring for him and trying to sort out his finances -- the next she was dumped. The relationship has been tempestuous and now there is no going back."
The pair have eight-year-old twins together.
The source continued: "Now she has to care for their twins at the same time she is looking after her elderly mother who is in poor health. Lyndsay is feeling very low and vulnerable.
"They hardly ever communicate and she is constantly worried about their finances in the future. Rick's lifestyle and health problems have added to the strain."
