The news was revealed by a good friend of the actress, Angela Lonsdale, during an interview on ITV's Lorraine show on Tuesday.
Lonsdale is currently starring in BBC drama Our Girl, and during the conversation, revealed her wedding plans to fiancé Jonny Davies. The couple were engaged last year on a trip to New York, and Lonsdale said: "He proposed on the Brooklyn Bridge, with a load of tourists coming up behind.
"We haven't set a date, we've just spent a year doing the house, but Denise [Welch] is going to marry us. She's going to go online and a do a course."
Impersonating Welch, she added: "'If it's good enough for Robbie Williams, it's good enough for me.' So that's set in stone, but the venue or nothing else is sorted yet."
Williams got an internet qualification to marry his friend Billy Morrison and his partner Jennifer Holiday in 2002, after seemingly completing his training in just 48 hours.
