After sharing a number of images of himself and his new girlfriend Sofia Richie on Instagram, Bieber threatened to make his account private after his partner received abuse from a number of the singer's fans. However, Gomez then hit out at her ex, telling him to stop posting the photographs if he "can't handle the hate".
This descended into a war of words between the pair, with Gomez later accusing Bieber of cheating on her a number of times. Bieber then responded with the comment: "I cheated... oh I forgot about You and Zayn [Malik]?"
However, according to TMZ, a representative for Bieber has denied that it was the singer who made the remarks, despite them being made on his official account. Fake accounts are said to be behind the comments instead.
