No New Relationships For Lydia Bright

Lydia Bright has said she doesn't want another relationship for at least two years, following her separation from childhood sweetheart James 'Arg' Argent.

The couple, who dated on and off for seven years, separated for good in March. During the latest series of reality television show The Only Way Is Essex, the couple had a final showdown, where their split was shown to be anything but amicable and Bright admitted that she no longer wanted Arg as a friend, or in any part of her life.

She has now said that she wants to enjoy being single.

She is quoted as saying: "I just want to enjoy single life, focus on me and my career and have fun.

"I don't want to take life too seriously and I want to live in the moment and take life as it comes. I used to be so focused on what was happening in the future but I've learnt to live in the moment and enjoy what's happening now."

Although she did add: "Never say never. You can't rule out falling for somebody else but I don't have any intention of being in another relationship anytime soon. I have no regrets with James but it's now time to focus on being by myself and being single. I have no desire to get in another relationship for the next couple of years."
