Pallett, to rose to fame on Emmerdale and Waterloo Road, was discussing how she was out of work for a long time and had also gone through bad relationships.
"I'm really unlucky in love," she told the host. "I was out of work. I was sick of meeting unsuitable men."
She recalled one particular experience, saying: "I met a 42-year-old but he said he couldn't pay for our date because he'd spent all his money on social media. He dumped me in Costa... Not Costa Rica, Costa Coffee!"
Pallett dated actor Harry Neale in 2013 for six months. In February of last year, she was spotted kissing singer Simon Webbe.
